Students in Years 5 and 6 visited the local Banyule Council as part of their study into governments. They met with a number of staff from council including Clr Tom Melican. It was a rich experience that deleved deeply into the structure of local councils as well as the formalities and procedures of council meetings. Students enjoyed the opportunities to role play councillors in a mock council meeting responding to an application to build a five storey block of units on the Northern side of Rosanna Primary. It was a great opportunity to renew our friendship with Clr Melikin who had been Principal for a Day earlier in the year.
Greetings to our Rosanna Primary Website. Please feel free to meander through this reflection of our community. Visit our class blogs and comment on their great learning.
