We can't help but be reminded of how lucky we are to be surrounded by such beauty.
![]() One of the delights for our community at this time of year is our nesting Tawny Frogmouths. In the large tree, outside the canteen, a pair of frogmouths have been sitting on their nest for the past few weeks. This week they surprised everyone when the juvenile took up residence in a bush at eye level!! Still in its soft down, it has slowly been developing its fully formed feathers, accompanied by a parent watching on. During lunch and recess breaks, students grouped in wonder as they studied these beautiful native birds. We can't help but be reminded of how lucky we are to be surrounded by such beauty.

What a wow of a concert thrilled all those who were present on 20 October! Below are the range of responses received through Tiqbiz from parents who shared in the night. It is a tribute to all who shared in the realisation of the concert.
Videos of this night can be ordered through the office this week only for a cost of $25.00. ![]() The bell rang and freezing conditions and rain caused the cancellation of the Working Bee planned last Friday. Nevertheless a number of intrepid parents braved the conditions and continued into the evening to regenerate and plant over 100 native grasses and bushes outside Chandler Hall. this monumental effort was followed up with even more digging the day after. Have a look at the area, it is fantastic. A special thanks for the donation of other natives that are now populating the 3/4 and 5/6 amphitheatre area. These supportive actions have helped Ensure our grounds are kept neat and tidy. ![]() Students stood up and were heard at a recent Student Representative Council (SRCVic) awards presentation evening. On Tuesday 18 October, members of the Junior School Council, Rosanna Primary Staff as well as parents of our JSC Reps, gathered in Melbourne with students from across the state. Students were thrilled and parents proud when the Minister for Education presented our JSC representatives with a runner up award. We were all privileged to have achieved so much and be recognised for our strong student voice here at Rosanna Primary. |
