![]() The Ahern/John family made a generous gift to the Austin hospital kids ward yesterday. Brock, Emily, Bailey and Lincoln sold the most tickets and won a couple of the wonderful Easter Hampers. They then gave their prizes to the children at the Austin Hospital which is what they have done for the past couple of years. A wonderful picture of how we can 'make the day' of others in our community.

A special thanks to Kelli for her organisation and the teachers who helped supervise the morning.

There were four main speakers that inspired students to achieve great things. The presenters that stood out were Nathan 'Dubsy' Want (an inspiring speaker), Dylan Parker (the inspiration for the movie, Paper Planes), Harry Baker (the World Poetry Slam Champion) and Kate Austin (the founder of Pinchapoo)! The whole day was an absolute blast! It was a good reminder to take everything step by step. I want to remember the quote ... "No is only two tiny letters". We don't have to be afraid of it and we can get past it. There was a great motto that we thought was really cool. It was ...."I will only make a difference by achieving big things said no leader ever. Master the little." It is important to achieve the little things and they will add up to the big things. ![]() Don't wait to place your special morning tea orders for traditional, chocolate or fruit buns.
