Today was just not any Australia Day! Today Geoff Richardson was awarded a special Australia Day honour by the local community. It was awarded by Jenny Macklin, Member for Jagajaga, in recognition of his contribution to education in our community and after fourteen years of dedicated service to the community. It is with great joy that school councillors and teachers joined with Heather to recognise Geoff's significant contribution to our school on this special occaision.

Geoffrey is the recently retired Principal of Rosanna Primary School. Over 15 years at the school Geoffrey has left an indelible mark on its learning and outcomes. His work in encouraging and developing a strong multicultural community is greatly appreciated by staff, students and families, and leaves a strong legacy into the future. No doubt he will enjoy a well-earned retirement.
