Moon Phases Fun!

2/6/2015

In the 3/4 area, students have been learning about the moon and the different moon phases during a lunar cycle or month. The students were very excited to construct models that demonstrate the lunar cycle. Students have developed an understanding that the moon revolves around earth. They have also learnt that the position of the moon in its cycle around earth determines what the moon looks like to us from night to night. Check out some photos from the Moon Phases models.
