On Tuesday 26th April, 1/2K had a magical learning experience in the Life Education van. We learnt about healthy and unhealthy foods, keeping medicines safe from babies and little kids, and how to stay safe in an emergency.
Some people got to dress up as superheroes. We looked at good qualities that superheroes have, like being nice. These superheroes had to choose things that could help in an emergency, like a phone or a no smoking sign. We learnt that it is important to put a lock on boxes that have medicines in them.
We sorted pictures of different foods into healthy and unhealthy foods and also foods that we call 'sometimes' foods - foods that are okay to eat every now and then.
The Life Ed van is really magical because we can turn the lights off just by rubbing our hands on the carpet and then twinkling our fingers in the air!
It was so cool to see Harold again this year. He didn't speak to us, but he whispered in Kate's ear and he understood what we say. He told us that he fell down the stairs and bumped his head - we heard some thumps that might have been him falling! Harold gave us all a sticker to remind us of our visit. Sumeya went to collect them but he wouldn't give them to her - so she had to dance with him!
We can't wait to visit again next year!
